Many people realize they have a problem and decide to enter recovery
on their own. However, because denial is a powerful component of
drug and alcohol abuse, it often takes coworkers, friends, and family
to help an individual who abuses alcohol and other drugs. Loved
ones and colleagues can help a person who is in trouble realize
and accept that drinking and using has become a problem.
At Gulf Coast Recovery’s executive alcohol treatment center,
we offer crisis intervention services. If you have a coworker, friend,
or family member who is abusing alcohol and/or other drugs, our
intervention specialists can work with you to design an approach
that will help him or her realize the extent of the problem. We
can then provide entering treatment as an option, so that he or
she may get the help that is necessary in order to enter recovery.
Once you have worked with our intervention specialist and laid
out plans for an intervention, and have determined the time and
place of the intervention, our intervention specialist will guide
and oversee the intervention. Usually a person with a substance
abuse problem is not happy about an intervention, so it can be very
helpful to have a third party to offer support, guidance, and input
during this difficult process.
One of the advantages to our program is that it is specifically
designed for professionals. This can help a person with drinking
and drug problem agree to enter treatment at our center.
If someone you care about has a problem with their drink or drug
use and needs help, please call us today at 800.370.2322.
It is possible to recover. Gulf Coast Recovery’s executive
alcohol treatment center can be the start of a life free from substance
abuse.
