Many people realize they have a problem and decide to enter recovery on their own. Often, however, denial is a powerful component of alcohol and/or abuse and it takes coworkers, friends, and family to help an individual who abuses alcohol realize and accept that drinking has become a problem.

Professionals have specific and unique life challenges. In order to meet these challenges in a safe, sane, and sober way, our clients need assistance in planning strategies and techniques that will allow them to have continued success in their professional and personal lives.

Meditation has grown to become an important part of our Executive Recovery program for many reasons. Meditation encourages spiritual growth through increased serenity and inner peace. Techniques like yoga promote physical growth by improving strength, flexibility, and physical well-being. The relaxation of mind from meditation also increases mental ability, memory, and clarity of thought.

To accommodate the unique needs of all our clients, we offer training in the following forms of meditation:

Yoga: beginner, intermediate, and advanced poses and forms

Native American: an integration of spiritual customs and relaxation techniques

Buddhist: the classic mediation with goals of focusing and expanding the mind

Energy-focused: increase mental, physical, and emotional energy and strength
